Zusammenfassung
Die Aufgabe eines Übersetzers ist die Erkennung eines Quell programms (Benutzerprogramm) und seine Übersetzung in ein äquivalentes Programm einer anderen Sprache. Dieses erzeugte Programm heißt dann äquivalent, wenn es dieselbe Funktion realisiert wie der Algorithmus, den das Benutzerprogramm darstellt, d. h. bei allen Eingaben, für die der Algorithmus definiert ist, dieselben Resultate liefert.
