Zusammenfassung
Die reine Theorie (pure theory) stellt auf reale, d.h. güterwirtschaftliche Beziehungen ab. Auch in ihr wird mit Preisen argumentiert, doch stellen diese Preise hier ein Austauschverhältnis zwischen verschiedenen Gütern dar; so kann etwa der reale Preis eines Gutes dadurch ausgedrückt werden, daß man unterstellt, man bekäme für eine Einheit dieses Gutes eine bestimmte Menge eines anderen Gutes. Die reine Theorie stellt damit auf eine reine Tauschwirtschaft ohne irgendwelche monetären Einflüsse ab.
