Nach Auswertungen der Studie Multimedia ′95 des Iris Institutes in Düsseldorf nutzen 76 Prozent den eigenen PC für private Dinge und 30 Prozent für Berufliches. 9,1 Stunden in der Woche sitzen PCler vor ihrem Gerät. 86 Prozent nutzen Textverarbeitungsprogramme, 63 Prozent Spiele, 42 Prozent Tabellenkalkulationen, 35 Prozent Datenbanken, 5 Prozent Online-Systeme. Soviel zur Statistik ′95. Doch es geht nicht darum, ob man viel oder wenig vor dem Computerbildschirm sitzt.
