Zusammenfassung

Die Globalisierung der Finanzmärkte1), insbesondere das Phänomen der ‘Securitisation’, beeinflussen und verändern ex definitione die Funktionen und die Rollenverteilung, die Banken und Nichtbanken im System finanzieller Beziehungen einnehmen. Dieses Finanzsystem ist in seiner Gesamtheit einem kontinuierlichen Wandel ausgesetzt, als dessen Auslegung auch die nunmehr zu behandelnde Erscheinung der ‘Disintermediation’ zu verstehen ist, zu der Euronotes und ECP stark mit beigetragen haben.
