Zusammenfassung
Die schnelle Entwicklung des technischen Fortschritts und der beschleunigte Wandel von Konsumentenbedürfnissen hat zu einer teilweise erheblichen Verkürzung der Produkt-Lebenszyklen geführt. Daneben ist auf vielen Märkten eine verstärkte Marktsättigung und ein wachsender Verdrängungswettbewerb zu beobachten1. Vor dem Hintergrund dieser Rahmenbedingungen und einer Umwelt, die durch zunehmende Komplexität und Dynamik gekennzeichnet ist, kommt der Fähigkeit eines Unternehmens, eine erfolgreiche marktorientierte Innovationspolitik zu betreiben, besondere Bedeutung zu.
