Zusammenfassung
Der Begriff der Erfahrung erhält in der psychologisch-pädagogischen Forschung zunehmend mehr Gewicht. Dies liegt zum einen darin begründet, daß das Phänomen der Expertise näher ergründet werden soll, das in den letzten Jahren großes Forschungsinteresse gefunden hat. Zum anderen sollen mit Hilfe einer Untersuchung des Erfahrungsbegriffes instruktionale Möglichkeiten zur Entwicklung von Expertise erarbeitet werden. Herausragende Experten unterscheiden sich zwar grundsätzlich von „Novizen“, also Neulingen in einem bestimmten Bereich, in der großen Menge verfügbaren, domänenspezifischen Wissens, die Vermittlung von viel Fachwissen allein führt aber offenbar nicht zu hohem Expertisegrad: Personen mit viel angehäuftem Wissen stoßen häufig auf das Problem, ihr Wissen nicht anwenden zu können, da es „träge“ bleibt (Bransford, Goldman & Vye, 1991; Mandl, Gruber & Renkl, 1993). Hinzukommen müssen offenbar geeignete Lernerfahrungen, denn in Verbindung mit deklarativem Fachwissen läßt sich Erfahrungswissen vergleichsweise gut in Handeln umsetzen. Unter diesem Gesichtspunkt läßt sich die zunehmende Berücksichtigung des Erfahrungsbegriffes in psychologischen Modellen von Expertenwissen verstehen, während bislang Erwerb und Repräsentation deklarativen Wissens im Vordergrund stand.
