Zusammenfassung
Die Europäischen Gemeinschaften (EG) sind eine zum Teil supranationale Organisation der beteiligten zehn Staaten, d. h., daß die Mitgliedsstaaten einen Teil ihrer nationalen Souveränität auf die EG übertragen haben. Die EG unterscheidet sich damit wesentlich von anderen internationalen Organisationen wie z. B. der UNO.
