Zusammenfassung
Die in Deutschland bislang kaum rezipierten Arbeiten von Runyan (1978, 1980, 1982, 1984) liefern sowohl ein theoretisches Modell für die sequentielle Erfassung des Lebenslaufs wie auch eine forschungsökonomische methodische Umsetzung. Runyans Ansatz ist im engeren Sinne ein temporaler Musteransatz, der den Makroabschnitt „Lebenslauf“ umfaßt. Im folgenden wird kurz sein methodischer Ansatz referiert und sodann über eine empirische Arbeit berichtet, in der dieser Ansatz verwendet wurde (Wrusch, 1995).
