Witzige Darbietungen als Talk-Shows. Zur konversationellen Konstruktion eines sozialen Milieus

Zusammenfassung

In diesem Beitrag analysiere ich witzige Geschichten und andere spaßige Darbietungen, wie sie während informeller Treffen unter guten Bekannten präsentiert werden. Solche Darbietungen spielen bei geselligen Ereignissen in allen Schichten und Milieus eine Rolle, denn es geht in solchen Situationen mehr um Unterhaltung als um den Austausch von Informationen. Ich möchte zeigen, wie sich mit diesen Darbietungen eine Gruppenkultur (Fine 1990) oder ein soziales Milieu (Schulze 1993) konstituiert. Die Gruppe kann sich scherzend geteilter Denkweisen und Gefühlslagen versichern, ohne diese explizieren zu müssen. Witzelnd und lachend kann man sich beispielsweise von der Welt der Konservativen abgrenzen und für sich das Selbstbild des fortschrittlichen Menschen kommunizieren, ohne den Verdacht der Selbstbeweihräucherung auf sich zu ziehen.1
