Zusammenfassung
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) als beziehungsorientiertes Konzept der Kundenpolitik weist im internationalen Kontext auf Grund der Heterogenität der Kundenbeziehungen, die aus dem unterschiedlichen Länder- und Kulturkontext der beteiligten Akteure resultiert, eine Vielzahl von Unterschieden gegenüber rein national orientierten Vorgehensweisen auf. Wegen der ausgeprägten Heterogenität und — verglichen mit Business-to-Business-Beziehungen — geringeren Spezifität ist dabei insbesondere die Gestaltung von konsumentenorientierten Beziehungen im internationalen Zusammenhang von besonderer Komplexität. Die folgenden Ausführungen beziehen sich deshalb vornehmlich auf die Konsumgüterbranche, so die Konsumgüterindustrie und den Konsumgüterhandel, unter Fokussierung auf die Betrachtung von Business-to-Consumer-Beziehungen.
