In diesem Kapitel untersuchen wir linear-implizite RK-Methoden. Es werden die bewährten Klassen der adaptiven RK-Methoden und der Rosenbrock-Typ-Methoden vorgestellt. Im Mittelpunkt der Betrachtungen stehen Stabilitätsuntersuchungen und Fragen der B-Konsistenz und B-Konvergenz.
