Zusammenfassung
Eine Beschränkung dieses Bandes auf aktuelle Methoden zur Prävention und Bekämpfung von Jugendkriminalität in Deutschland und den Niederlanden würde zu kurz greifen. Die Erweiterung unseres Vergleichs der deutschniederländischen Situation auf andere europäische Länder ist nicht nur informationsmäßig interessant und nützlich, sie ermöglicht auch eine transkulturelle Bewertung bzw. Relativierung der deutschen und niederländischen Strategien der Prävention/Intervention sowie der existierenden Forschungsprogramme. Zu diesem Zweck werden in diesem Teil der Publikation Beiträge aus Österreich, Rußland, dem Vereinigten Königreich und Spanien weiter eingehen auf bestehende Probleme, politische Diskussionen zum Thema sowie auf interessante Ansätze und Forschungsergebnisse in diesen Ländern.
