Zusammenfassung

Mit dem gegenwärtigen Diskurs um Citizenship hat es etwas Eigentümliches an sich. Kaum ist Citizenship in den vergangenen Jahren zum Dreh- und Angelpunkt von Analysen und Strategien wissenschaftlicher und politischer Diskussionen geworden, stimmen Teile der Debatte auch schon den Abge-sang auf sie an — ihnen gilt Citizenship als antiquiertes, überholtes Modell, das seine Pflicht erfüllt haben mag, den Anforderungen in einer globalisierten Welt aber nicht mehr gewachsen ist.
