Abstract
In this chapter the architecture of a scheduling workbench will be discussed in detail. We propose a conceptual architecture integrating four modeling paradigms within a decision support system. Implementations of this and related concepts will be discussed in Section 5.9 and 6.3. See also [Suhl92, Suhl93a].
