Zusammenfassung

Was bedeutet Wahrnehmung anderes als die Repräsentation des Zustandes der Außenwelt im kognitiven Apparat eines Wahrnehmenden? Das Hirn ist der kognitive Apparat des Menschen. Wahrnehmung wäre also als außenreizinduzierte Veränderung im Erregungsgefüge dieses Organes zu zeichnen (Florey und Breidbach 1993). Fraglich ist allerdings, inwieweit das Konzept der Repräsentation eine zureichende Charakterisierung dieser außenreizinduzierten Erregungsveränderung ermöglicht (Vergl. Breidbach, dieses Buch).
