Zusammenfassung

Der Gedanke, dass Kooperationen zwischen Unternehmen ein Ort — oder eine Arena1 — des Lernens sein können, hat in den letzten Jahren rasche Verbreitung gefunden. Wiesen einige Autoren bereits 1988 darauf hin, dass Kooperationen als Instrument des Erwerbs neuen Wissens betrachtet werden könnten, ist vor allem seit 1996 eine verstärkte Auseinandersetzung mit dieser Thematik zu verzeichnen.2 Als Beleg für die Wichtigkeit, die dem Thema inzwischen beigemessen wird, kann gewertet werden, dass in der renommierten Zeitschrift Strategic Management Journal allein im Jahr 2000 vier Beiträge erschienen sind, die unmittelbar Fragen des Lernens in Kooperationen behandeln.3
