Abstract
I accepted the invitation to participate in the inauguration of the International Symposium on Arteriosclerosis Research with great enthusiasm, which brings together almost 60 international scientists from 17 different countries. As the representative of the city of Münster, I cordially welcome the participants and international guests of this scientific meeting.
