Zusammenfassung
Dieser Beitrag diskutiert die Bedeutung von langfristiger Planung für den It-Bereich in Zeiten turbulenter Entwicklungen auf I&K-Märkten. Der Beitrag ist als Plädoyer zu verstehen, bei Planungen in der Informatik eine längerfristige Perspektive zugrunde zu legen, anstatt sich von kurzfristigen Einflüssen leiten zu lassen. In diesem Zusammenhang wird ein systematisches Risikomanagement ebenso benötigt wie ein institutionalisiertes Innovationsmanagement. Der Beitrag geht auch auf die sich daraus ergebenden Anforderungen an die universitäre Ausbildung und Forschung im IT-Bereich ein.
