Zusammenfassung
In diesem Kapitel wollen wir aus der Vielzahl der spektroskopischen Techniken diejenigen vorstellen, die im Bereich der Biophysik und Biochemie häufig Verwendung finden. Absorption und Streuung von Licht ist ein allgemein auftretendes Phänomen. Je nach Spektralbereich des Lichts werden jedoch unterschiedliche Moleküleigenschaften untersucht. Tabelle V.I gibt einen Überblick über die verwendeten Spektralbereiche und den Informationsgehalt der jeweils erhaltenen Spektren. Bevor die Methoden im Einzelnen erläutert werden, wollen wir kurz auf die Eigenschaften des bei der Spektroskopie genutzten Informationslieferanten — des Lichts — eingehen.
