Zusammenfassung
In der historischen Entwicklung der Theorie der Ringe stellte man schon frühzeitig fest, daß in jeder endlichdimensionalen Algebra A ein zweiseitiges, nilpotentes Ideal B (nilpotent heißt, daß es eine natürliche Zahl n mit Bn = 0 gibt) existiert, derart daß A/B eine halbeinfache Algebra ist.
