Der firmeneigene Campus gilt heute als die modernste und qualitativ hochwertigste Möglichkeit des Management und Leadership Development. In Deutschland gibt es derzeit nur wenige Corporate Universities. Eine der ersten unter ihnen und damit auch Vorreiter hierzulande war die mg academy, die Corporate University der mg technologies ag, wie die Metallgesellschaft seit 2000 heißt.
