Zusammenfassung
In der Realität besitzen die Unternehmungen — anders als in der klassischen Unternehmungstheorie — einen relativ hohen Freiheitsgrad bei der Zielwahl. Dies gilt insbesondere für die Großunternehmungen, die sich nach Kaysen gerade dadurch auszeichnen, daß der vom Markt ausgehende verhaltensdeterminierende Einfluß gering und der autonome Entscheidungsbereich der Unternehmung dementsprechend weit gezogen ist1). Die Zielentscheidungen können demzufolge nur unter Beachtung der unternehmungsinternen Entscheidungsprozesse erklärt und prognostiziert werden. Dabei wird u. a. erkennbar, daß bei zahlreichen Entscheidungen auf allen hierarchischen Ebenen zwei oder mehrere gleichberechtigte Ziele simultan angestrebt werden; die Gesamtunternehmung oder einzelne Teilsysteme operieren mit multivariablen oder pluralistischen Zielen, mit MehrzweckEntscheidungen beziehungsweise Zielkombinationen2). Die Zahl der beteiligten Entscheidungsträger hat für Zielkombinationen nur akzessorische Bedeutung; sie führt zu unterschiedlichen Ausprägungen von Mehrzweck-Entscheidungen. So ist in Einmann-Unternehmungen nur jener Typ von Zielkombinationen anzutreffen, bei dem ein einzelnes Handlungssubjekt eine bestimmte Entscheidungssituation so gestalten will, daß gleichzeitig zwei oder mehrere Hauptbedingungen erfüllt werden. Das handelnde Individuum trachtet danach, ein Zielbündel zu realisieren; wir haben es mit einer intrapersonell multivariablen Zielkonzeption zu tun. Insoweit stimmt die wirtschaftswissenschaftliche Problembehandlung im Ansatz mit den neueren psychologischen, soziologischen und kybernetischen Forschungsergebnissen überein, wonach der Mensch bezüglich möglicher Ziele einen gewaltigen Spielraum besitzt3).
