So verwirrend wie die Vielzahl der israelischen Parteien, so einfach ist das Grundraster der traditionellen Parteien„landschaft“: Es gibt drei größere politische Lager: die Arbeiter- bzw. Linksparteien, die bürgerlichen bzw. rechten sowie die religiösen Parteien. In jedem Lager finden wir gemäßigte und ideologisch härtere Gruppierungen.
