Zusammenfassung
In den 30er Jahren gab es in der Dermatologie bereits erste therapeutische Versuche mit der systemischen Gabe von Vitamin-D-Analoga [1]. Allerdings wurde aufgrund der Kalzifizierungsgefahr durch diese Präparate bald wieder Abstand vom therapeutischen Einsatz Vitamin-D-haltiger Zubereitungen in der Dermatologie genommen. Ein Wiederaufgreifen dieser Idee erfolgte durch eine zufällige Beobachtung zweier japanischer Kollegen, die einem an Osteoporose leidenden Patienten lα(OH)D3 verabreichten und feststellten, daß die gleichzeitig bestehende Psoriasis vulgaris unter der Therapie abheilte [2].
