Das Versuchsprogramm sah eine Untersuchung über die Erwärmungsmöglichkeiten thermoplastischer Kunststoffe vor. Es waren Grundlagen für eine vergleichende Beurteilung der Infrarotstrahlung gegenüber den verschiedenen Erwärmungsverfahren zu schaffen.
