Ein vollständiges Instrument zur Messung der radioaktiven Strahlung besteht aus einem strahlungsempfindlichen Teil, dem Detektor und einer elektronischen Ausrüstung. Diese hat die Aufgabe, die für den Detektor benötigten Versorgungsspannungen zu erzeugen und die Signale des Detektors zu analysieren und zu registrieren.
