Zusammenfassung

Bevor wir uns den Theorien über die Einkommensverteilung zuwenden, ist es gut, sich einen Überblick über die bisherige Entwicklung der Einkommensverteilung zu verschaffen, damit man weiß, was eigentlich erklärt werden soll. Neuere Berechnungen gestatten es, sie über mehrere Jahrzehnte hinweg zu verfolgen. Im folgenden werden einige Ergebnisse wiedergegeben.
