Die Simulation betriebswirtschaftlicher Informationssysteme

Zusammenfassung

Die Auseinandersetzung mit der Simulation als Verfahren zur Analyse und Gestaltung betriebswirtschaftlicher Systeme setzt eine doppelte Abgrenzung des Begriffes Simulation voraus: Zunächst bedarf es einer allgemeinen Erläuterung der wissenschaftlichen Konzeption der Simulation, und sodann sind die speziellen Merkmale herauszustellen, die sich aus der Anwendung des Verfahrens im betriebswirtschaftlichen Bereich ergeben. Weder für den einen noch für den anderen Fall kann auf eine eindeutige, allgemein anerkannte Definition des Begriffes Simulation zurückgegriffen werden. Vielmehr besteht eine Teilaufgabe dieser Untersuchung darin, die Eigenschaften der Simulation in ihren allgemeinen und speziellen Erscheinungen zu isolieren und zu einem Gesamtbild zusammenzufügen.
