Zusammenfassung
Der Begriff Systemtheorie und die ersten Vorstellungen zu seiner näheren Bestimmung lassen sich auf den Biologen von Bertalanffy1) zurückführen. Die Systemtheorie leitet ihr Gedankengebäude von einer interdisziplinären Betrachtungsweise der Realität ab, wobei sie alle konkreten Zusammenhänge als Systeme interpretiert. Auf dieser Basis haben sich inzwischen recht unterschiedliche Auffassungen über das Objekt und die Aufgaben der Systemtheorie entwickelt2), so daß der Eindruck eines vagen Begriffsinhaltes entsteht3).
