Zusammenfassung
Die von gezüchteten Endothelzellen produzierte extrazelluläre Matrix (EZM) dient seit einiger Zeit als In-vitro-Modell für die Untersuchung der Interaktion zwischen Plättchen und Subendothelium [1, 8]. Die EZM ähnelt der Lamina basalis der Gefäßwand sowohl in ihrer Organisation als auch in der makromolekularen Zusammensetzung (sie enthält Fibronektin, Laminin, Kollagen Typ Ill, IV und V und sulfatierte Proteoglykane). Darüber hinaus kann sie morphologische und biochemische Veränderungen in Gang setzen, die der Plättchenaktivierung an der Stelle einer Endothelverletzung ähnlich sind. Während ihrer Interaktion mit der EZM zeigen die Plättchen einen ausgeprägten Formwandel, Aggregation, Freisetzungsreaktionen und unter anderem auch Thromboxan-A2-Produktion.
