Zusammenfassung
Der naturwissenschaftliche Fortschritt in den vergangenen zwei Jahrzehnten führte insbesondere auf dem Gebiet der Psychopharmakaforschung zur Entwicklung einer Vielzahl neuer Neuroleptika mit z. T. sehr ähnlichem, z. T. sehr unterschiedlichem klinischen Wirkprofil, die in ihrer differentiellen Indikation oftmals nicht mehr klar überschaubar sind. Dies zeigt sich häufig in einer wenig gezielten Verschreibungspraxis, insbesondere im Hinblick auf die gleichzeitige Anwendung mehrerer Psychopharmaka.
