Unser Ansatz der Analyse des Staates im allgemeinen und des modernen Staates im besonderen ist vor allem aus einer Überprüfung des Konzepts der Tradition entstanden, welches sich aus einer erneuten Betrachtung der Untersuchungen über Modernisierung und der Vorstellung von der Konvergenz industrieller Gesellschaften entwickelt hat.
