The Radon Transform and Related Transforms

  • Chapter
The Mathematics of Computerized Tomography

Abstract

In this chapter we introduce and study various integral transforms from a theoretical point of view. As general reference we recommend Helgason (1980). The material of this chapter serves as the theoretical basis for the rest of the book. It contains complete proofs, referring only to Chapter VII.
