Abstract
Psychological research efforts might gain external validity and political relevance when appropriate research tools developed in the laboratory are utilized for the study of sociopolitical events and developments. With a little more courage and flexibility in the use of research methods and designs, some predominant problems of man and his society might be allowed to enter the stage of his scientific imagination.
