Zusammenfassung
Expertensysteme werden zur Unterstützung von Produktionsplanung und -steuerung (PPS) verstärkte Beachtung finden. Hier wird nur ein wesentlicher Teilbereich — die Feinplanung und Steuerung der Herstellung von Stückgütern — näher beleuchtet. Sowohl die maschinenorientierte Betrachtungsweise des Ordinierens von Aufträgen (sequencing) als auch die fabrikorientierten Ansätze der Maschinenbelegung (scheduling) und des Auftragsdurchschleusens (routing) finden Berücksichtigung. Zunächst werden die konzeptionellen Grundlagen aus der Erforschung der Künstlichen Intelligenz (KI) vorgestellt. Später werden erste Prototypen vorgestellt, die diese Konzepte in praxisorientierte PPS-Expertensysteme umsetzen.
