Shoulder Arthroscopy

Abstract

Shoulder arthroscopy is a minimally invasive technique that allows optimal visualization of the glenohumeral joint, subacromial, peri-coracoid, and nearby areas. With shoulder arthroscopy and techniques progressing rapidly, deep knowledge of the relevant anatomy, the pathologic conditions, and the surgical procedures are more crucial than ever; correct portal placement is an essential part of this process in order to get extensive visualization, access, and maneuverability to the areas of interest.
