Zusammenfassung
Die Behandlung funktioneller neurologischer Störungen sollte niederschwellig und interdisziplinär erfolgen, wobei verschiedene Therapiemodalitäten wie Psychotherapie, Physiotherapie und Ergotherapie zum Einsatz kommen. Das Engagement des Neurologen sollte nicht abrupt mit der Diagnosemitteilung enden. Eine Behandlung kann je nach den individuellen Bedürfnissen des Patienten und den verfügbaren Versorgungsstrukturen ambulant, teilstationär oder vollstationär erfolgen. Neurologische Rehabilitationskliniken und spezialisierte Zentren spielen bei der Behandlung mancher Krankheitsformen eine wichtige Rolle.
