Quantifizierung von Verhaltensabläufen

Zusammenfassung

Eine quantitative Registrierung von Verhalten ist eine Grundvoraussetzung für eine statistische Analyse und für die Beantwortung von wissenschaftlichen Fragen. Einige Verhaltensweisen lassen sich vergleichsweise einfach zählen oder messen. Andere Verhaltensweisen hingegen sind nicht immer einfach klar voneinander abzugrenzen. In diesen Fällen müssen klare und nachvollziehbare Definitionen angewandt werden. Für solche komplexeren Verhaltensabläufe sind deshalb meist Vorbeobachtungen notwendig, um sinnvolle Definitionen aufstellen zu können, die einen Bezug zur Fragestellung haben.
