Abstract
In this chapter we present the objectives of risk management and a maturity model to strengthen the focus on opportunities. Since risk management is a regular activity during the development of any product, we discuss process models which support early risk taking, utilization of opportunities, and proper reduction of threats. We also present practical tips for using FMEA and dealing with field problems.
