Zusammenfassung

Achtsamkeit und Selbstmitgefühl sind zwei populäre Ansätze bei der Behandlung psychischer Störungen, die im folgenden Kapitel näher beleuchtet werden sollen. Beide Bereiche werden getrennt voneinander hinsichtlich geschichtlicher Hintergründe und wissenschaftlicher Konzeptionen vorgestellt. Anschließend werden jeweils die wichtigsten Gruppenprogramme, unter Beschreibung der Kerninterventionen, näher beleuchtet. Abschließend wird der wissenschaftliche Forschungsstand skizziert und kritisch diskutiert.
