Zusammenfassung

Das Zonobiom IX umfasst zwei sehr weit voneinander getrennte Teilgebiete, die sich aufgrund der sehr unterschiedlichen Verteilung der Land- und Ozeanflächen im Norden und Süden und in den entsprechenden Breitenlagen stark voneinander unterscheiden. Jeweils von Süd nach Nord nimmt die Kontinentalität stark ab.
