Zusammenfassung
In diesem Kapitel soll verdeutlicht werden, dass nicht der freie Wille eine Illusion ist, sondern die Annahme, er werde vom „Ich“ ausgeübt. Denn, was wir als „Ich“ erleben, kommt erst durch unsere freien Willensentscheidungen zustande. Sie tragen als Akte der Selbst-Messung dazu bei, dass Information entsteht, die zu immer komplexerenGanzen integriert wird – bis hin zu menschlichen Körpern, Gehirnen und unserem Ich-Bewusstsein. Weder das „Ich“ noch das Bewusstsein treffen also irgendwelche Entscheidungen oder führen quantenphysikalische Messungen durch. Sie sind schlicht deren „End-Produkte“.
