Abstract
With the implementation of the universal two-child policy, more and more families have two children. The family structure changes cause the complexity of family relations, and the sibling relationship has become an important part of family relations. This study adopts the qualitative research method of case study, observes and interview five children family of 0–3-year-old children. It is using the method of event sampling to get examples of sibling interactive. Through the example, this study wants to describe sibling relationship, find the influence and effects of sibling relationship, and put forward opinions and suggestions. Sibling relationship can be divided into the following four dimensions: sibling intimacy, conflict, rivalry, and relative status. The factors that influenced sibling relationships included sibling factors themselves, parenting pattern, family relationship, and family structure. One of the influencing factors of the sibling relationship is family structure, including gender and age. The sibling relationship theories need to be further improved, especially focusing on the impression of Chinese local culture and environment. At the same time, based on the research conclusions, we can carry out relevant intervention of sibling relationship.
