Zusammenfassung
Bei CPAP („continuous positive airway pressure“) atmet der Patient unter kontinuierlichem positivem Atemwegsdruck spontan. Wichtigste Ziele sind eine Verbesserung der Oxygenierung und eine Verminderung der Atemarbeit. Zwei Systeme werden verwendet: Continuous-Flow-CPAP und Demand-Flow-CPAP.
