Zusammenfassung
Dysfunktionales Management kann durch zwischenmenschliche Faktoren beeinflusst werden. Manager wirken im Sinne des Modelllernens auf ihre Mitarbeiter und prägen damit ein Stück weit die Arbeitsqualität im Unternehmen. Gleichzeitig sind sie selbst Objekt entsprechender Einflussprozesse. Durch soziale Vergleichsprozesse suchen und geben sie Orientierung im guten wie im schlechten Sinne. Einzelne Personen können durch den Einsatz gezielter Überzeugungs- und Beeinflussungsstrategien die Arbeitsqualität ihrer Umgebung steuern. Die einfachste Form der sozialen Beeinflussung für Führungskräfte liegt in der Wirkung der Autorität. Darüber hinaus kann Majoritäten- und Minoritäteneinfluss wirksam werden. Zu guter Letzt zeigt die Sozialpsychologie Beeinflussungsprozesse innerhalb von Entscheidungsgremien auf, die bisweilen besonders radikale Entscheidungen zur Folge haben.
