Zusammenfassung
2019 – etwa vierzig Jahre, nachdem Computer für den privaten Gebrauch entwickelt wurden und nicht mehr ausschließlich in Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft ihren Einsatz fanden – stellt sich nicht mehr die Frage, ob digitale Medien und Technologien den Alltag, das Arbeits- und Freizeitverhalten und Gehirntätigkeit verändern, sondern wie diese auch angemessen, sinnvoll und hilfreich in eine neuropsychologische Therapie für Kinder und Jugendliche integriert werden können. In diesem Beitrag wird der Einsatz digitaler Medien und Technologien aus mehreren Blickwinkeln beleuchtet: in der Diagnostik, weil darauf Therapie beruht; des digitalen Spiels als Medium zum Zwecke des Lernens; es werden Vorteile und Grenzen aufgezeigt; es wird ein Überblick über elektronische Hilfsmittel und digitale kognitive Trainingsprogramme, Applikationen und neue Technologien gegeben, und schließlich ein Leitfaden zur Auswahl und Anwendung zur Verfügung gestellt.
