Zusammenfassung
In diesem Kapitel geht es um die zweischneidige Rolle unseres Immunsystems bei der Entstehung von Krebserkrankungen. Wir erklären, bis zu welchem Punkt uns unser Immunsystem vor Krebserkrankungen bewahren kann und warum es manchmal leider auch gegen uns spielt. Das Verständnis der Funktionsweise des Immunsystems erlaubt uns auch zu verstehen, was Allergien und Autoimmunerkrankungen sind und weshalb unser Immunsystem wahrscheinlich sogar bei der Partnerwahl ein Wörtchen mitzureden hat.
