Prof. an der Chir. Akad., 1842 an der Univ. 1821 Mitglied des Collegium Academicum Chirurgicum und 1824 des königl. Gesundheitskollegiums. Ab 1843 prakt. Arzt in Altona. Er übersetzte das chir. Standardwerk seines Onkels (Principia systematis chirurgiae hodiernae) und setzte sich durch das Schriftstellerlexikon ein bleibendes Denkmal.
