Zusammenfassung

Die Antroduodenal- bzw. Jejunalmanometrie (Oberbegriff: Magen-/Dünndarmmanometrie) ist zeitlich aufwendig und nur von limitiertem klinischen Interesse. Selbst an Zentren mit einem Schwerpunkt auf dem Gebiet der Neurogastroenterologie werden maximal 10–20 Untersuchungen pro Jahr aus klinischer Indikation heraus durchgeführt. Insbesondere die Analyse der interdigestiven und postprandialen Dünndarmmotilität erfordert Expertise, die auch bis heute meist nicht durch die computerisierte Auswertung mittels kommerzieller Softwareprogramme ersetzt werden kann. Vor eventuellem Beginn eigener Untersuchungen ist daher ein mehrwöchiger Aufenthalt in einem Referenzzentrum dringend anzuraten.
