Zusammenfassung

In diesem Kapitel wird es darum gehen, eine Einführung in eine neurobiologische Perspektive auf die Psychotherapie zu geben. Dazu wird die bisherige Entwicklung im Zusammenspiel von Neurowissenschaften und Psychotherapie(-forschung) betrachtet und in neurowissenschaftliche Methoden in der Psychotherapieforschung eingeführt. Zudem werden sowohl die großen Therapieschulen, wie Verhaltenstherapie und Psychoanalyse, wie auch schulenübergreifende Konzepte betrachtet und zugehörige neurobiologische Erkenntnisse exemplarisch dargestellt.
